     In 2006 the Araucana celebrates 30 years of recognition by the American Poultry Association.  In 1976 all five of the current varieties of Araucana were accepted by the APA. 
     Our goal is to promote the breed as described in the APA and ABA Standard of Perfection and to encourage the development and improvement of the Araucana in both Standard size, and Bantam, as well as all it's varieties through breeding, exhibition, and dissemination of information.
